Building something from nothing takes grit, heart, and a whole lot of determination. For Caley Stecker, owner of C and C Land Maintenance, that journey started long before the company ever existed. Raised in a nearby Missouri town, Caley grew up around heavy equipment. What started as a childhood fascination became a lifelong skill, and eventually the foundation of a business that now serves communities across Johnson, Lafayette, Cass, Henry, Pettis, and Saline Counties.

Caley and his wife have been together for more than 22 years, and they built the company side-by-side, from the ground up. What began as a family dream quickly became a full-service excavation and septic operation that now runs two highly skilled crews, handles large-scale commercial and residential work, and has earned hundreds of 5-star reviews across all platforms.
